Q's debut album Soul,PRESENT is a fusion of the nostalgic funk vibes of the 80s Prince mixed with the contemporary alternative R&B approach that has made the likes of Steve Lacy successful. What separates Q from his contemporaries is that similarly to Prince, his music is an experience. Soul,PRESENT is not just an album, it’s a call for self exploration and a reflection on ones soul.

The journey started with the release of a series of album trailers. These trailers were not mere announcements of an upcoming release; they were giving audiences a peek into Q's creative process. They were fragments of a broader painting, bringing fans into the world of an artist who has spent time pondering his purpose. The trailers created anticipation and curiosity, serving as a launchpad for the album.
Complementing the album trailers were the custom visualizers for each track. Each visualizer is part of a film that expands the story of Soul,PRESENT. Social media content was crucial in this rollout, featuring a cohesive and carefully curated aesthetic. Q’s goal was to take fans into his world by giving them access to the album via exclusive listening sessions, footage of the creative process, and a glimpse into his life. He used Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok to share these vignettes of his journey, building a sense of community and intimacy with his fans.
Q being included in Spotify's RADAR program also played a pivitol role in the release of this project. As part of this initiative, Q received extensive support across Spotify's platform, amplifying his reach to new listeners and markets. It was a cosign of his talent and a nod to his potential as an upcoming artist.
